Elijah was feeling kinda down
Thought he was the only prophet in town
Elijah bravely stood his ground
Would his God answer him and finish the drought?
A cloud the size of a person’s hand
Was rising out of the sea
A cloud from Yahweh to finish the drought
Was rising out of the sea
Elijah ran and went to ground
Though he had defeated the prophets of Baal
Elijah was getting out of town
Jezebel and Ahab hunting him down
The Lord was not in the violent wind
The earthquake nor in the fire
The Lord spoke words of encouragement
In solitude and the quiet
